About Me

Background

My musical training included studying with Randy Masters, Cole Dalton, Suzanne Warren and Bill Sussman. I’m also a professional musician and have been a music teacher in the Bay Area for over 30 years.

I specialize in working with children and families teaching guitar, ukulele, piano, singing, and songwriting, and I’m especially patient with beginners.

My teaching philosophy is that learning guitar, piano or voice lessons can help children in achieving goals, increasing their self esteem, and developing technical competence. Music lessons can also enhance self expression, fine motor coordination, and be used for other therapeutic purposes.

The starting age for lessons can be as early as five years old.
